Public Access

Casalier Chambers offer a free initial consultation with a barrister to all clients prior to instruction.

Instructions are accepted directly from private individuals and businesses under The Public Access Rules (2004) issued by The Bar Council of England and Wales.

Practically, this means that members of the public may now come directly to a barrister without first instructing a solicitor. This allows private and institutional clients direct access to the expertise of barristers at highly competitive rates.

We act for clients in a wide variety of cases from small claims and disciplinary tribunals to High Court and Appellate Litigation.

Casalier Chambers also offer Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and effective fast track ADR procedures that are ideal for claims under £15,000.

Members of chambers are qualified arbitrators and CEDR accredited mediators. It is often possible to resolve a dispute through an ADR procedure without recourse to the Court.
